If you must

If you need the Internal Revenue Code this is a handy two volume set. The type is large and easy to read. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that I only received Volume 1 with the first delivery. Then, whoever I spoke to was clearly not a US resident who kept telling me that both volumes were in one book. When you are a tax practitioner and you know that there are more sections of the Code that should be in the book, it is frustrating to have someone not believe you. Ultimately, via email correspondence with someone else, I ended up with the complete two volume set. They also didn't require me to return the volume that I had. I certainly didn't need a second volume one, but it was nice to avoid the hassle of returning. All in all it was ultimately a satisfactory experience.

Time to break it into 3 volumes?

I purchased the Summer 2014. Both volumes were shrink-wrapped together, and arrived in good condition (I've had issues with Amazon on other multi-volume tax references not shipping complete). Lift with your knees; these books are heavy. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars, is that the pages are so thin (I imagine to keep the weight down) that the words form the other side of each page shows through, which is a little distracting. I'd rather have the added weight than the super thin pages, even if it meant breaking it into three books.

Must have for tax research class. It is much easier to use a book then have ten tabs on computer open.
I would say only bad thing is that due to Congress, you need to buy new books every year.
